This is my take on Red Lobster's Cheese Biscuits...
Of course with a twist...
2 Cups Cake Flour, Sifted
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
3/4 Cup Warm Milk with 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
7 Tablespoons Cold Unsalted Butter
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Extra Butter, Melted to Brush the Biscuits
Garlic Salt for the Top
Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, pepper, garlic powder and paprika...
Cut up the cold butter...
Add to the flour and work quickly into the flour...
Add the cheese...
Add the milk & vinegar and without over working the dough mix well...
It is okay to have a bit of loose flour...
Scoop the dough without pressing down.... Makes 9 Biscuits...
Bake for 20-30 minutes in a 425 degree oven...
In the meantime melt the butter and have the salt ready...
This is what they look like when they are ready...
Brush them with Butter and Sprinkle with Garlic Salt...
