Fergie's Cilantro Storage Tips



I bought 6 bunches of Cilantro for $1.00 !!!  Yep... awesome buy huh? So... of course there is only so much cilantro you can use in one day!  Let me show you what I do with extra cilantro and parsley... 

6 Bunches of Cilantro or Italian Parsley
Juice of 1 Lemon
8 Snack Size Zip Lock Bags


Cut the thick stems off the bottom and rinse the cilantro well... 


Put the cilantro and lemon juice in food processor (I would not use a blender) ...

Pulse until smooth... 


Get your bags ready... 


Scoop 2 Heaping Tablespoons of Cilantro in each bag... 


6 Bunches yielded 8 baggies... 
2 heaping tablespoons  = 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro



Place on a flat plate and freeze... once they are frozen, you can remove the plate 
and because the froze flat you will be able to store pretty much anywhere in 
the freezer...
