Yes... you heard right... homemade Almond Milk! People have been making it for years... it's not that shocking! Super easy to make and way cheaper. Make sure you use RAW almonds... toasted and or salted will result in catastrophe!!! I use almonds when they start to get a bit stale... don't have to use fresh ones. Great way to use almonds you may have forgotten to seal properly.
3 Cups Raw Almonds, Soaked Overnight in About 6-8 cups of Water
12 Cups Water
1 Tablespoons of Good Quality Vanilla
2-4 Tablespoons of Raw Sugar or Honey
Cheese Cloth
12 Cups Water
1 Tablespoons of Good Quality Vanilla
2-4 Tablespoons of Raw Sugar or Honey
Cheese Cloth
Rinse the almonds and soak in about 8 cups of water... Overnight.
I blend in 3 batches... with 4 cups of water at a time.
Arrange the cheesecloth inside a colander...
Blend the almonds, water, vanilla and sugar... Blend for a long time!!!
Pour into the cheese cloth lined colander... fold over and squeeze...
This is what you are left with!!! Oh... and throw this in your flower beds... your plants will
love it!!!
