Fergie's Protein Balls



I have been looking for a good source of protein that I can snack on throughout the day... I found nothing but expensive, filler filled junk that tasted terrible.  I looked up several recipes and came up with a happy medium!!!  You can omit the nectar if you are watching your sugar intake. 

2 Scoops Protein Powder,  I used Muscle Milk Natural Vanilla Creme
1 Cup Raw Oats
1 Cup Flaxseeds, Ground
5 Tablespoons Almond Butter 
4 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter, No Sugar
1 Tablespoons Coconut Nectar 
3/4 Cup Almond Milk, Unsweetened


Start to build your ingredients... 


Add the protein powder... 


Add the flaxseed ... 


Combine the 2 butters and the nectar ...  Microwave for 30 seconds... 




Add to the dry ingredients... 


Add the almond milk... 


Using your hands make into a large mass... 


This is how it should look... 


Using a 1 Tablespoon cookie scoop... 


Make 21 protein balls... 


Keep refrigerated...

Carbs: 8 
Fat: 7 
Protein: 5 

You can also roll in Cocoa Powder for a chocolaty option.
