Mushroom Rice... A favorite in the Ferguson Home... I made this recipe when I had some leftover White Rice... I always make extra White Rice and come up with fun Recipes the next day or two. Here is what you need...
Mushroom Rice
3-4 Cups Cooked White Rice, I used Calrose
1 1/2 Cups Sliced Mushrooms, I used White... But any kind in any combination work great!
4 Chopped Scallions, Green Onions
2 Tsp Chopped Garlic
1 Tsp Ginger
1 Tsp Ginger
1 Tsp Asian 5 Spice
4 Tbl Oyster Sauce
1 Tbl Soy Sauce
1 Tbl Mirin
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
2 Tbl Water
4 Tbl Oil
All of the sauces used in this recipe you can find at any Grocery Store...
I always keep in the fridge.
I used White Mushrooms... but any kind in any combination works AMAZING!
Green Onions
Minced Garlic
Asian 5 Spice... (mine has 7) I make my own in my Mortar, but you can find this spice anywhere. Here is what you will need... Equal parts of ..
Fennel, cloves, and cinnamon, star anise and Szechuan peppercorns, ginger, nutmeg
Leftover White Rice.... MY FAVORITE... This year I will be developing alot of recipes with

Combine all the liquids and have handy to pour during the cooking process
Heat oil and add the mushrooms, green onions and garlic.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes
Add the spices and mix well.
Add rice and start breaking it up with your spoon... Combine all ingredients well and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add Sauce
Serve nice and hot...
