Falafel

Super Delish, and super good for you!!! Garbanzo Beans are beyond good for you! Try this recipe and see... eat them like a snack or make them the main dish ... Serve them over mashed potatoes and pour some gravy.... or stick them in a French Roll of Hoogie and make a sandwich.  Traditionally they are served in a pita with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a Yogurt Sauce.

FALAFEL

1 Can Garbanzo Beans, Drained
3 Cups Fresh Spinach
1/2 Onion, chopped
3 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Ground Pepper
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Curry Powder
1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
Canola or Veggie Oil for Pan Frying

Garbanzo Beans

Baby Spinach

1/2 Onion, Rough Chopped

Garlic

1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Pepper

THROW EVERYTHING IN THE FOOD PROCESSOR

Add Curry Powder and 1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

You will end up with a thick Paste

I use a cookie scooper.... I scoop into very hot Canola Oil

Flip when golden

Drain on Papertowels

Serve
